Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting at the De Smet facility. You will perform daily living activities, assist with basic health care needs, and support the care plan under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or eligibility within four months.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual continuing education hours required (12+).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and basic health care needs.
• Record vital signs and document care interactions.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility.
• Support dining and meals for residents and assist with supplements.
