Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties such as computer entry, filing, telephone communication.
• Demonstrates good telephone etiquette and greets patients and visitors politely.
• Possesses good communication skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of laboratory test terminology and phlebotomy basics.
• Handles pre-analytic processing of specimens across pathology, microbiology, immunology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and blood bank.
• Stocks and orders routine supplies and keeps areas clean.
