Job summary

Pace is hiring a Client Services Technician to support environmental testing operations. You will manage order processing, ship a high volume of coolers, generate labels, and assist with client communications.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and timely handling of samples and shipments. The position requires reliability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while working in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly when handling high volume of coolers and information.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, couriers, and internal teams and provide responsive customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Build customer orders based on Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• High-Volume Shipping: Prepare and ship a large volume of coolers and packages using FedEx.
• Shipping Labels and Technology: Create shipping labels and track packages using FedEx and basic systems.
• Client Service: Interact professionally with clients during sample drop-offs, pickups, and shipping communications.
• Sample Receiving: Review information to determine the appropriate Pace lab for testing and route samples accordingly.
• Cooler Cleaning and Cross-Contamination Prevention: Sanitize coolers for reuse.
• Stock and Supply Support: Assist with receiving and organizing supplies and inventory.
• Safety and Organization: Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow procedures.
