Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse for Medicine Stepdown during the evening shift. This full-time role requires coordinating, supervising and delivering nursing care to a diverse patient population.

You will assign duties based on acuity, collaborate with physicians and other staff, and ensure safe care plans, documentation and unit operations are efficient.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Tennessee required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience
• At least 1 year of charge nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as charge nurse and supervise patient care during shifts.
• Coordinate staff assignments based on patient acuity and unit needs.
• Provide nursing care and supervise other nursing personnel as needed.
• Collaborate with manager and educator to orient new employees and staff.
• Ensure documentation, safety and compliance with standards of care.
