Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for an evening, part-time role at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Under supervision of a Pharmacist, you will prepare compounds, label and distribute medications while considering patient age and needs. You may work with IV meds and handle refill requests per policy.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and Ohio CPhT registration. PTCB certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Must be registered as a CPhT with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy terminology, compounding knowledge and hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compound, label and distribute pharmacy products for patient use.
• Prepare IV medications using special equipment as required.
• Process refill requests for non-monitored meds and document distribution.
• Participate in process improvement and training activities.
