OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician for Grant Medical Center. The role involves interpreting and preparing pharmacy products, labeling, and ensuring proper distribution to patients.

Shifts are mostly days with some evenings; a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available. Responsibilities include compounding, medication distribution, data handling, and participation in process improvement initiatives within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Must be at least 18 years old and registered as a CPhT with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
Pharmacy certifications (PTCB, Board of Pharmacy Specialties) preferred.

Responsabilités

Accountable for tasks defined in policy or standard of therapy under pharmacist supervision.
Prepares/compounds and labels a range of pharmacy products for patient use.
Active involvement in the medication distribution process: ordering, receiving, stocking, dispensing.
Participates in process improvement activities.
Participates in new associate training as needed.
Proposing, monitoring and improving key metrics.
As an HRO, focuses on safety, quality and efficiency.
