Job summary

OhioHealth's Dublin Methodist Hospital seeks a part-time Pharmacy Technician to interpret, prepare/compound, label, and distribute pharmacy products, with attention to patient age and needs. May prepare IV medications and process non-monitored refills in a hospital setting.

The role operates under a Registered Pharmacist, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a supportive, professional environment at a busy hospital. Shift is variable, 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• CPhT certification with Ohio Board of Pharmacy required
• Knowledge of compounding and pharmacy math
• Hospital pharmacy operations and medical terminology knowledge
• Familiar with trade/generic drug names

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, perform tasks per policy and procedures.
• Prepare/compound a comprehensive range of therapies and label for distribution.
• Active involvement in medication distribution: ordering, receiving, stocking, dispensing.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Support new associate training as needed.
• Assist in monitoring key metrics and professional development.
• As an HRO, focus on safety, quality and efficiency in duties.
