Allendale Senior Living in Allendale, NJ is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to support residents with safe, accurate medication administration and compassionate daily care. This full-time role follows state regulations and facility procedures, with a 3pm–11pm shift and daily pay options.

The ideal candidate holds NJ Medication Technician Certification and CNA/CHHA credentials, has MT/CMT experience, and can work well in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NJ Medication Technician Certification.
• Must also be a CNA or CHHA/HHA, as required by state rules.
• Previous Certified Medication Technician (CMT) experience required.
• Experience administering oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous medications.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications to residents safely and accurately per physician orders and policies.
• Provide medications via oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous routes as permitted.
• Observe residents for responses, document, and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed nursing staff supervision.
• Ensure medications are stored, secured, and accounted for per procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and related care.
• Collaborate with the care team to promote resident-centered outcomes.
