Job summary

Avalon View Health and Wellness is seeking a Certified Medication Aide/Tech (CMT) to administer daily medications to residents and monitor their condition. This role requires state certification, completion of approved training, and CPR/BLS certification.

Flexible shifts and a supportive regional team are offered to qualified candidates. You will document medication administration, verify patient identity, and report any changes to nursing staff while ensuring compliance with regulations and MAR

Qualifications

• Certified in the state of practice.
• Completed State Approved Medication Technician/Aide training and competency evaluation.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and records administration on MAR.
• Passes routine daily medications per physician orders.
• Verifies resident identity and documents drug details.
• Observes and reports changes in condition.
• Documents task completion and notes notable changes.
• Assists with meals and monitors nutritional needs.
