Requirements include NJ Certified Medication Technician, High School diploma, and 1+ months' related experience. Part-time position with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour and DailyPay option may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience acceptable.
• 1+ months experience in a senior living setting preferred.
• NJ Medication Technician certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medications for Assisted Living per regulations and MAR/TAR.
• Count and sign narcotics with authorized personnel and report discrepancies.
• Order medications and notify when stock is low; coordinate with pharmacy.
• Notify supervisor if inventory is low and no shipment received.
• Verify medications against MAR; report discrepancies to pharmacy/DH&W.
• Provide personal care and general nursing tasks, monitor vital signs.
• Maintain daily logs and document concerns; assist residents as needed.
• Daily and weekly cleaning of med carts and restocking.
• Attend staff trainings and ensure medical charts are updated within 48 hours.
