Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a General Lab professional for full-time evenings in Olympia Fields, IL. This role requires ASCP certification, a Bachelor’s degree in a health science or MLT, and an active state license where required. Two years of hospital lab experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include performing a wide range of tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and more, while maintaining QA/QC and instrument maintenance. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 applies.

Formación

• Minimum two years of hospital laboratory work experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.
• ASCP certification, or equivalent preferred.
• Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to lab procedures for collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of patient test results.
• Follow QA/QC policies and document corrective actions.
• Identify problems that may affect test performance and notify supervisor or Medical Director as needed.
• Perform and document maintenance on instruments and equipment; various disciplines as introduced; ensure accuracy before releasing results.
