Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician for the Day shift in the Clinical Lab. You will perform waived to highly complex tests under CLIA guidelines, adhering to quality control and safety standards.

Qualificações

• ASCP certification preferred.
• Minimum two years hospital laboratory work experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other CLIA-referenced education.

Responsabilidades

• Perform waived, moderate, or highly complex tests as authorized by CLIA.
• Adhere to laboratory procedures for collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of patient results.
• Follow quality control policies and document corrective actions when test systems deviate.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisor or Medical Director as needed.
• Perform maintenance on instruments and equipment daily, weekly, or as needed.
