Job summary

Performance Foodservice in the United States is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support its distribution network. You will transport empty trailers to operating company warehouses and return full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, using tandem, tractor-trailer or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes.

Expect a Sunday–Thursday evening shift with a late dispatch and reliable weekly schedule. The role requires a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, at least 6 months driving experience, a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• CDL Class A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• State licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• 3rd shift schedule, Sunday–Thursday nights.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and handle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks and inspections according to DOT regulations.
• Reports safety issues and needed repairs.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Ensures route paperwork is ready at dispatch.
• Drives and delivers trailers per schedule.
• Operates hook/unhook procedures safely.
• Parks and stores trailers in designated areas.
• Ensures cargo is secured and documentation is complete.
• Unloads equipment and cleans trailers as required.
• Maintains daily log of hours.
