Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support our distribution operations. You will transport empty trailers to warehouse locations, turn around and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, and operate various vehicle types under DOT guidelines.

You must hold a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, have 6+ months of driving experience, and meet minimum age/health requirements. A $7,500 hiring bonus is offered with terms; benefits start Day 1.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Commercial driving experience preferred; 6+ months is stated.
• Must be 21 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT rules.
• Report safety issues and repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Ensure route paperwork is complete and accessible at dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule; hook/unhook safely.
• Keep tractor, trailer, and dock area clean and organized.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
