Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a Shuttle Driver in Memphis, TN to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, in compliance with DOT regulations. You will interact professionally with customers and coworkers and contribute to safe, timely operations.

Responsibilities include safety checks, route discipline, and securing freight, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency on intrastate/interstate routes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• DOT Health Card current or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and inspect tractor/truck/trailer.
• Report safety issues and needed repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; secure freight.
• Ensure route paperwork is complete and available at dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule; hook/unhook safely.
• Park and store tractor trailers; maintain secure equipment.
• Handle damaged goods and returns; complete necessary paperwork.
• Unload equipment and keep trailers clean; perform daily hours logging.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
