Job summary

The GEO Group is hiring for a full-time resident services/case management role in Houston, TX. This position supports residents, manages a caseload, and applies evidence-based practices to promote successful community reintegration.

The role operates evening shifts 12:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m. with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus payable in quarterly installments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social, human services, criminal justice or behavioral science.
• One year of experience in human services, corrections or a community-based service.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software used by the department.

Responsibilities

• May perform the duties of a Monitor including resident intakes, check-ins, breath analysis and drug screens.
• Prepares written personalized programs for each resident to establish measurable criteria and a time frame for goals.
• Assists residents to establish personal budgets, housing, education and vocational programs for financial independence.
• Monitors facility sanitation and safety and assigns daily chores as required.
• Orient residents upon arrival to facilitate smooth program entry and paperwork completion.
• Keeps confidential resident files and documents program participation for analysis.
