Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Case Manager to provide structured support to residents in developing individualized program plans and ensuring compliance with contract requirements at the Houston facility.

You will prepare personalized plans, monitor progress, and coordinate services to promote housing stability and employment readiness while maintaining strict confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience as Monitor or 2 years in related role (case management, counseling, therapeutic environment).
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree can substitute for experience.
• Familiar with community corrections systems and practices.
• Able to write clear reports in English with proper grammar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare personalized program for each resident and set measurable goals with time frames.
• Assist residents to establish budgets, housing, and enroll in education/vocational programs.
• Monitor facility sanitation and safety and assign daily chores to residents as needed.
• Orient new residents to ensure smooth program entry.
• Maintain confidential resident files and ensure data security.
• Verify residents' employment and provide guidance for job placement.
• Document resident movement and ensure accountability under contract terms.
• Prepare discharge reports summarizing performance and outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings to address issues and improve operations.
• Follow policies and attendance rules and ensure resident safety and security.
