Job summary

Qualifications

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) per care plan.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Maintain resident dignity and privacy.
• Communicate changes to supervisor promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and mobility.
• Assist moving/res transfers using safe techniques and equipment.
• Report resident condition changes to nurse or supervisor.
• Encourage participation in activities and socialization.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Observe and report changes in emotional condition to nurse.
• Ensure safety and infection control compliance at all times.
