Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Caregiver for a Part Time Day Shift (7am-3pm with every other weekend required) in Naples, FL. The role focuses on providing routine daily care to residents in a respectful, compassionate manner according to care plans.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, transfers, mobility, social activities, and timely reporting of changes to the nurse, while upholding infection control and safety standards. Prior home care or LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience providing daily living activities for residents preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and assist with transfers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Familiarity with facility EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Assist with transfers to beds, chairs, bathtubs, and wheelchairs using proper techniques.
• Report any resident changes or incidents to a supervisor promptly.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Monitor resident safety and assist in drills as required.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
