Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents safely using proper techniques.
• Report changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Follow infection control practices and safety guidelines.
• Observe and report changes in residents' emotional condition to nurses.
