Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Medical Surgical Telemetry at Highland Park Hospital. You will assist with patient care tasks under RN/LPN supervision, perform ADLs, monitor vital signs and comfort patients, and support the nursing team to ensure safety and patient satisfaction. Evening shift, full time with rotating weekends; 36 hours weekly.

Requires CNA training preferred and current BLS. Eligible to work in the US; no travel.

Qualifications

• CNA training preferred or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the US
• Current BLS certification required/essential

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answering call lights, and performing hourly rounding.
• Assist in safe patient handling, ambulation, and repositioning under supervision.
• Provide basic nursing care for ADLs: bathing, grooming, feeding, hygiene under RN/LPN oversight.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers including room setup and patient orientation.
• Record and communicate vital signs, intake/output, and other care activities.
• Provide care companion/sitter support as requested to ensure patient safety.
• Support department tasks: restocking equipment, linens, and delivering supplies.
