Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Patient Care Tech for the Evening shift at Highland Park Hospital. The role is full-time, 36 hours weekly, with an evening schedule from 11am to 11:30pm and rotating weekends. You will assist with patient care, chart reviews, and teamwork with the clinical staff.

Ideal candidates have CNA training (preferred), BLS certification, and strong interpersonal skills. This role involves patient movement, PPE usage, and flexibility to handle high-demand situations.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA training completion preferred.
• At least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Flow of work and duties require mental, visual and manual dexterity.
• Visual acuity to assess patients and read/record charts.
• Auditory acuity to converse with patients and healthcare team wearing masks.
• Potential exposure to blood and hazardous materials.
• Able to work under pressure to meet patient care needs.
• Assist with non-emergency patient movement using equipment.
• May assist with lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Wear PPE such as N95/PAPR where applicable.
• Sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull during shift.
