Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park, NJ, is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. This part-time evening position includes rotating weekends and a 24-hour shift schedule.

The role involves assisting with patient care under RN/LPN supervision and supporting the nursing team. Ideal candidates will have CNA training, a current BLS certification, and excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• CNA training preferred.
• At least one nursing clinical rotation preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, grooming and feeding.
• Provide basic nursing care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Respond to patient call lights and coordinate with care team.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transfers as needed.
• Document vital signs, intake/output and routine procedures.
