Job summary

MercyOne Davenport seeks an RN for the Progressive Care Stepdown Unit on the 2nd shift (evening), 3pm–11:30pm, 32 hours per week (.8). The role provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally competent care for inpatient cardiovascular patients across ages, with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

The ideal candidate has an ADN, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire, Iowa RN licensure (Illinois licensure within 1 year is acceptable), and is prepared for

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Illinois RN licensure within 1 year acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct safe cardiovascular inpatient care across age groups.
• Conduct assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Adhere to ANA Professional Practice Standards and participate in quality improvement activities.
