Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Iowa or qualified multi-state license.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• BSN preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred but not required.
• Will train new RN graduates.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents patient needs and responses, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Develops and implements patient care plans, including discharge planning, based on standards and patient needs.
• Guides and directs patient care activities using clinical/critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
• Provides daily direction to Nurse Assistant and supports learning opportunities for patient/family education.
