Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years law enforcement or related experience.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 points).
• Additional education may substitute for required experience per JHU equivalency.
• Must meet Maryland State Police requirements for a Special Police Commission.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a squad of campus security officers during shift.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents as SOP requires.
• Account for attendance, payroll, and leave.
• Schedule training and ensure up-to-date information.
• Oversee officers and coordinate with Baltimore PD when needed.
• Notify Director and other departments of incidents.
• Investigate complaints against officers.
• Perform other duties as directed by Director.
