Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of supervisory experience in corporate/public safety or law enforcement.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record (no more than two points).
• Pass university background check and health screening including drug test.
• CP S I certification or willingness to complete CPSI academy.
• Ability to obtain DC University Special Police Sergeant license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise public safety staff and contract security.
• Enforce department rules and initiate corrective action as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare performance evaluations for subordinates.
• Coordinate shift scheduling with Lieutenants to ensure coverage.
• Maintain security devices and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Provide crime prevention training and conduct shift drills.
• Prepare reports and investigate offenses with prosecutorial coordination.
