Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in corporate/public safety/military/law enforcement.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two points).
• Ability to obtain a DC University Special Police Officer commission and related licensing.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and unscheduled overtime.

Responsibilities

• Supervise public safety staff and contract security.
• Enforce department rules and perform corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Maintain and monitor security devices, CCTV, and alarms.
• Conduct daily briefings, trainings, and shift-based drills.
• Prepare and file incident reports and crime prevention training.
• Respond to emergencies and liaise with law enforcement as required.
