Job summary

Concordia College Dining Services seeks a Dishwasher to keep dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment clean and ready for daily operation. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety, and collaboration with student employees and staff in a mission-driven campus setting.

You will work with a team on a 12:30-9:00 p.m. shift, Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, with a .75 FTE and a 15.00–17.16 USD hourly wage. On-site work in Moorhead, MN is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a ServSafe certificate or pass the ServSafe exam within the first three months of employment.
• Previous food service, dishwashing, or related experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to complete required food safety training during the first three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, silverware, cookware, and food preparation equipment, returning items promptly to serving and storage areas.
• Operate dish room equipment safely and correctly while following established food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Keep the dish room clean, organized, well-stocked, and ready for daily operations.
• Monitor cleaning and sanitation supplies and ensure needed supplies are readily available.
• Help provide direction and support to student, on‑call, and temporary employees working in the dish room.
• Identify and report equipment problems or breakdowns to Dining Services management.
• Work collaboratively with student employees, coworkers, and managers to support excellent service for the Concordia community.
