Job summary

UW-Eau Claire is seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our Facilities Management team. This full-time position follows a six-month probation and includes on-the-job training, performing cleaning and maintenance across campus per SOPs and WI while following safety guidelines.

You will collaborate with campus customers, manage supplies and report facility issues, and contribute to a clean, safe learning environment. Starting salary is $33,280 with a total compensation around $60,293.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and WI procedures.
• Basic computer skills to access email and forms (Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean walkways free of debris, snow, and ice.
• Monitor entrances and report issues to appropriate teams.
• Keep supply areas organized; document inventory and requests.
• Document repairs, violations, and pest-control needs.
• Operate basic custodial equipment and dispose waste.
