Job summary

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare is hiring a Bilingual Behavioral Technician in East Orange, NJ to provide emotional support to children with developmental disabilities. The position offers flexible part-time hours, primarily in the evenings, and includes a $300 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities encompass implementing support plans and ensuring clients' well-being. Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
• Must complete NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must be working towards Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License required.
• Must pass all state and federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and behavioral support to children and families.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the client.
• Implement strategies in each child’s Individual Support Plan.
• Conduct functional assessments including ADLs.
• Use redirection strategies for managing behavioral concerns.
• Submit visit notes promptly.
• Respond to crises using de-escalation strategies.
• Engage clients in interest-based activities.
• Attend case reviews and required trainings.
