Job summary
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare is hiring a Bilingual Behavioral Technician in East Orange, NJ to provide emotional support to children with developmental disabilities. The position offers flexible part-time hours, primarily in the evenings, and includes a $300 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities encompass implementing support plans and ensuring clients' well-being. Qualifications
Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
Must complete NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire.
Must be working towards Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire.
Valid New Jersey Driver’s License required.
Must pass all state and federal background checks.
Responsibilities
Provide emotional and behavioral support to children and families.
Ensure the safety and well-being of the client.
Implement strategies in each child’s Individual Support Plan.
Conduct functional assessments including ADLs.
Use redirection strategies for managing behavioral concerns.
Submit visit notes promptly.
Respond to crises using de-escalation strategies.
Engage clients in interest-based activities.
Attend case reviews and required trainings.
