Job summary

A healthcare services provider in Sussex County seeks dedicated Behavioral Technicians to support children with developmental disabilities. This part-time role requires emotional and behavioral support at home, in community, and in-center. Candidates should be authorized to work in the U.S., possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License, and complete specific certifications within six months. Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must be working towards Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months.
• Valid New Jersey Driver's License required.
• Must pass state and federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-physical emotional and behavioral support to children.
• Ensure safety and well-being of clients.
• Implement strategies outlined in each child’s Individual Support Plan.
• Conduct functional assessments.
• Use redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns.
