Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Tech to support patients through admission to discharge at our McLean, VA facility. The role includes assisting nursing staff, leading groups, ensuring safety, and documenting care.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (or equivalent); a Bachelor's degree is preferred and a valid state driver's license is required. The schedule is 2pm–10pm, 3–4 shifts per week, on-site in McLean.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or higher.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• One or more years of experience in mental health, substance use, or eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to DBH policies and procedures.
• Provide patient supervision and support for treatment plans.
• Lead daily psychoeducational groups as directed by leadership.
• Document shift notes and other required records by end of shift.
