Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients throughout their treatment journey at our Fairfax Station, VA location. The role emphasizes safety, patient care, group facilitation, and collaboration with clinical teams.

Responsibilities include following facility policies, assisting nursing staff, documenting notes, and providing transportation as needed. A valid driver's license and relevant health field experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• One or more years experience working within the mental health, substance use or eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to DBH policies and procedures.
• Provides exemplary customer service to all patients.
• Maintains patient safety and privacy obligations.
• Facilitates daily groups and supports treatment planning.
• Provides transportation services as needed and may drive a company vehicle.
• Supports admission and discharge processes and completes shift notes.
