Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program in Virginia is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients from admission through discharge. The role emphasizes patient safety, daily living support, and group-based psychoeducation during the night shift.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or at least a High School Diploma with relevant mental health experience and a valid driver's license. Schedule Fridays and Saturdays, 10pm–6am; pay is $16–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• One year or more experience in mental health or related field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient safety and daily needs per program schedule.
• Lead psychoeducational groups.
• Document shift notes and group notes by end of shift.
• Transport patients as needed (pre-qualified to drive).
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and records.
