Job summary

WSU Tech is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach in the Architecture-Mechanical Design program at the NCAT Campus during evening hours. The role involves delivering lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and guiding students in design principles and industry tools.

Applicants should have a Technical Certificate or higher in architecture or mechanical design, plus 3–5 years of related industry experience and prior teaching or training

Qualifications

• Possess a minimum of a Technical Certificate in Architecture or Mechanical Design, or a closely related field.
• An Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree would be considered and highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions to students, covering topics in architectural and mechanical design.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and workshops to help students gain understanding of design principles, techniques, and tools.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, examinations, and other assessment methods.
• Be accessible to students outside of class hours for academic advising, mentoring, and support.
• Continuously update knowledge of advancements in architectural and mechanical design and related software.
