The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an Adjunct in Mechanical Engineering Technology to provide quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment. Candidates should be capable of teaching CAD, mechanics, automation, and more. A preference will be given for those who can teach evenings and weekends.
Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s Degree with three years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree with one year in the field, alongside a valid vehicle operator’s license.
Compensation is $55.88 per contact hour, with a maximum of 12 contact hours per week.
Job Description: The Adjunct – Mechanical Engineering Technology provides quality instruction and maintains a positive learning environment in the classroom, with major emphasis placed on teaching, supporting, and evaluating students. The Adjunct role provides instruction and monitors teaching/learning effectiveness in courses assigned by the Department Chair, or other leadership members. The incumbent must exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while engaging large groups of people with complicated material. Teaching responsibilities may include 2D/3D CAD, mechanics, materials, manufacturing processes, robotics, Manual and CNC machining, and statistics.
