Qualifications

• At least five years of HVAC industry experience is required.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging students.
• Ability to integrate current industry practices and technology into instruction.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction aligned with course objectives and industry standards.
• Provide hands-on training related to HVAC systems, installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Create and maintain an inclusive, safe, and productive classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
• Incorporate current industry technology, practices, and tools into instruction.
• Collaborate with academic team members and support staff to facilitate student success.
• Participate in program evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Represent WSU Tech at community and recruitment events, as needed.
