Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable, compassionate Direct Care Workers to provide one-to-one support in clients' homes across Southeast Michigan. You will help with daily tasks, skill-building activities, and community outings to help recipients reach personal goals.

Full and part-time positions are available, with opportunities for flexible scheduling and a supportive team culture aimed at making a positive difference in the lives of recipients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 direct care in recipients' homes.
• Support, encourage, and assist with skill-building activities.
• Assist clients in community activities to promote goals.
• Follow care plans and coordinate with supervisors as needed.
