Compass Health Network is seeking an Admissions Counselor for a weekend/swing shift at Royal Oaks Hospital. You will be the first contact for individuals seeking admission, guiding callers through the process and coordinating assessments and referrals with clinical staff.

The role requires clear, compassionate communication, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and a commitment to patient confidentiality and timely coordination of behavioral health services in a rural Missouri setting.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Associates/Bachelor's degree in a human service field preferred.
• Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and provide helpful, accurate information about hospital programs.
• Schedule assessments and coordinate referrals with clinical staff and outside agencies.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and team members.
• Maintain knowledge of hospital programs and admissions procedures.
• Support quality improvement and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
• Stay current with required training and continuing education, including CALM and CPR certifications.
