Job summary

Proud Moments ABA in Chesapeake, VA is seeking Behavior Technicians to join a center-based team providing 1-1 ABA treatment under the supervision of BCBAs. You will work Monday–Friday 3pm–7pm, delivering services to children on the autism spectrum in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, strong communication with families, and the ability to engage clients with creative approaches. Paid training, competitive pay, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with children preferred.
• Experience supporting children with behavioral challenges preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or developmental disabilities preferred; training provided.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report on treatment effectiveness.
• Support BCBA with family training on treatment plans.
• Be responsive to needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors and applicable parties.
• Assist with physical activities to engage children during sessions.
• Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
