Job summary

Butterfly Effects in Fall River, MA is seeking motivated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will implement ABA-based behavior plans and help develop communication, social, and self-care skills in collaboration with families.

This part-time role offers 12–20 hours weekly and requires a high school diploma; RBT certification is welcomed. You should be reliable, patient, and capable of transporting to session sites, using a tablet or laptop for data

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
• Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.
• Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Continuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.
• Transportation: Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.
• Devices: Must have a Tablet or Laptop computer to use during sessions (not just a smart phone).

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-C-certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.
