Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians for field-based sessions after school, 3:00pm-7:00pm. The role supports children with autism by implementing ABA plans and fostering communication, social skills, and self-care in daily activities.

We welcome entry-level and experienced candidates. Earn hourly pay with 12-20 hours weekly, plus opportunities for training and advancement toward RBT or BCBA with our financial support.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
• Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.
• Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Continuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.
• Transportation: Valid driver's license, personal vehicle & auto insurance.
• Devices: Tablet or Laptop computer required for sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress and behavior daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in interactions.
• Assist clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicate professionally with parents and clinicians.
• Participate in the treatment team and complete daily paperwork.
• Engage in ongoing training and maintain client confidentiality.
