Job summary

Axiom Space in Webster, Texas is seeking an energetic EVA Principal Systems Engineer to lead major testing campaigns for the AxEVA System. You will report to the EVA Systems Engineering and Integration Manager and work onsite at our Webster facility.

You will own end-to-end systems engineering for EVA systems, coordinate verification and validation activities, and collaborate across engineering teams, program offices, and customers to ensure timely plan execution.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 2-6 years of experience (Level II)
• 4-9 years of experience (Level III)
• 7-12 years of experience (Level IV)
• 10-16 years of experience (Level V)
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or ability to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Systems Engineering for Axiom EVA Systems (Suits, Flight Support Equipment, Training Equipment, Ground Equipment, EVA Tools).
• Define operations concepts, requirements, interfaces, and verification/validation plans.
• Coordinate verification and validation activities for EVA concepts and systems.
• Develop and maintain system architectures and product breakdown structures.
• Collaborate across engineering teams, program offices, and external customers for planning and execution.
• Coordinate integrated V&V test plans, procedures, and schedules across teams.
