Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking an energetic EVA Principal Systems Engineer to lead major testing campaigns for the AxEVA System, onsite in Webster, Texas. You will own end-to-end systems engineering for EVA hardware, assist in defining operations concepts, and coordinate verification, validation, and test activities across multiple teams.

The role requires 2–16 years of experience across Levels II–V, a strong ownership mindset, and the ability to collaborate with program offices and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (ABET-accredited preferred).
• 2–6 years of experience for Level II; 4–9 for Level III.
• 7–12 years for Level IV; 10–16 for Level V.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems engineering for Axiom EVA systems.
• Plan and coordinate verification and validation across teams.
• Define and maintain system architectures and requirements.
• Support V&V activities and supplier coordination.
• Communicate progress to management and customers.
