Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in automotive tech or related field
• Minimum 2 years in automotive or EV maintenance/repair
• Experience inspecting, diagnosing faults, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on repair skills and EV familiarity
• Knowledge of 12V electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license and required licenses for job functions
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with EVs and fleet/mobility operations
• ASE Certification or equivalent certifications
• Familiarity with digital inspection and fleet management systems

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and periodic vehicle inspections per CA regulations and procedures
• Assess overall condition: mechanical, electrical, safety, and cosmetic
• Run readiness checks before deployment and handover
• Keep accurate inspection records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical faults
• Inspect, test, and replace 12V batteries
• Execute quick fixes and minor repairs to minimize downtime
• Flag issues needing advanced repair and escalate
• Support preventive maintenance to improve reliability
• Monitor vehicle condition and suggest corrective actions
• Coordinate with maintenance vendors and internal teams
• Maintain vehicles in safe, operational condition
• Support fleet availability and efficiency targets
