Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Internship in Test & Validation Engineering to support the development and validation of current and next-generation EV charging products. You will learn how electrical and software-enabled products are tested from concept to final validation, through planning, lab work, data collection and documentation.

The role requires full-time availability for the spring Co-Op (Jan–Aug 2027), is onsite, and targets students in EE/ME/CE or systems engineering programs.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree at an accredited university.
• Active enrollment in an electrical, mechanical, computer or systems engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining product validation plans and test matrices.
• Translate requirements into clear test objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Develop test procedures, setups, checklists and lab instructions.
• Collect and preliminarily analyze test data to spot trends and issues.
• Support failure investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Participate in design and requirements reviews and risk assessments.
