  • Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, or systems engineering.
  • Willingness to learn laboratory equipment, test methods, and safety practices.
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits, measurement principles, and engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical requirements, schematics, drawings, or specifications.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Role Summary

Our Spring Co-Op program runs from Jan - Aug, 2027

In order to be considered for this role, you must be available to work full time (40 hours per week), onsite, for the entire duration. If you are unable to work during the spring semester, please apply to our Summer Internship Program.

The Test & Validation Engineering intern will support the development and validation of current and next-generation EV charging products. This candidate will have the opportunity to learn how electrical and software-enabled products are tested from early conception through final validation. The role will be a mixture of validation planning, test preparation, hands‑on lab testing, data collection and document preparation.

Responsibilities

Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $26.00-45.00/HR for Irvine based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
