Job summary

Harbinger is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join the Powertrain Manufacturing team. You will develop and implement in-line and end-of-line testing for EDUs, stators, and rotors in a high-volume production environment.

You will lead the sourcing and implementation of a high-volume EDU EOL test rig, manage vendor relationships, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and throughput requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in test engineering, preferably in EV/powertrain manufacturing.
• Experience specifying, sourcing, and launching automated test equipment in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage test specifications, parameters and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test data, diagnose failures, and perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes with data-driven analysis and cross-functional feedback.
• Train maintenance and production teams on test equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and implementation of a high-volume EDU EOL test rig and manage vendor alignment.
• Oversee vendor management from design to on-site commissioning and production launch.
