Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to travel to client locations and perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Lucid electric vehicles in the field. You will work with a service van/truck and tools provided by Lucid, operating independently and with a local team.

ASE certifications are expected within 6–8 months of hire, with Lucid reimbursing the related costs. The role requires strong customer service, EV knowledge, and flexibility to travel within assigned territory.

Qualifications

2-5 years of automotive service technician experience.
Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage EV systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication with customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and DMS software.
EPA 609 Certification.
Valid driver’s license with clean record.
Willingness to complete Lucid CPR training post hire.

Responsibilities

Serve as Service Advisor; manage parts ordering, returns and inventory.
Interact with clients to provide a high level of customer experience.
Document all vehicle interactions in software.
Maintain knowledge of HV, LV, EV systems.
Perform walk-around and identify primary concerns via interview and visual assessment.
Document client concerns for diagnosis and repair.
Follow repair order documentation procedures.
Invoice and collect payment.
Provide scheduling and customer follow-up.
Plan travel time and visit duration; provide support at Service Center as needed.
Ability to travel within territory and to other service locations.
Other duties as assigned.
